A Place To Visit When In Cornwall – St Michael’s Mount

One day out you should plan for is to possibly go over to St. Michaels Mount, you can walk across the causeway, or cross over by boat.  St Michael’s Mount is a small tidal island in Mount’s Bay, Cornwall. The island is a civil parish and is linked to the town of Marazion by a man made causeway of granite setts, which is passable between mid-tide and low water.

The rocky island is crowned by medieval church and castle and is home to a living community.
